Cant copy Mario kart save.

Does anyone know how to copy a save file from Mario kart. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in order to copy a save file to the game you have to run the game first and create a save file .

Ive got a file on my Wii I want to back it up on a SD card. The only option it gives me is to erase the file it will not let me copy or move it. I have read that because it is a internet playable game it wont let you copy it to a SD card but if anyone knows how to I figure it would be someone on this site.
