I found this little program to give you HBC a feel of folders or directories. It's brand new and I'm sure it will come a long way soon.

This app, when used effectively, will give the impression that the HBC has categories. How? By renaming your apps/ directory.
It will appear just like a regular app. When you run it, it will do it's thing with no input from you, and exit. When HBC comes up again, the apps in the destination category show up.

in the config.xml for example if you wish to link to your "apps_Games" folder from the your "root" you change from the given code:

<?xml version="1.0"?><from location="apps_games" /><to location="apps_utilities" />

to

<?xml version="1.0"?><from location="apps_root" /><to location="apps_games" />

This changes the name of the current "apps" folder to "apps_root" then links you to "apps_games" and changes that folders name to "apps"

Then you need to link back to your root by adding a copy of Catergorii in the game folder and linking to the renamed root folder and changing this folder back to "apps_games"

you can create as many links as you wish. Just plan you paths. It took a little doing to get it going but now that I see what is happening this is great. You can also add ICON.png to jazz things up as well the discussion page has a few that you can right click and save.
