cfg forwarder is not working

Hello,

It's been a long time since I touch my wii, I want to have cfg forwarder but it's not working. It says custom cios 248 cannot be found. please install it. I search for it and I found out that I need to install cios rev20. I'm scared to try because of disconnecting problems on the remote. Can you please guide me how to install this in a safe way? what is the most recommended to use cios rev 20 or 21?

get the CIOS249 base with the CFG v65.wad file and install the wad with priiloader or dop-mii v15
