CFG USB Loader question

Followed Larry's guide as far as setting up your external drive....When I boot up CFG Loader it asks if I want to partion the drive, I hit A and it brings me to the next screen that shows the size of the drive, I hit A again and it takes me in to the loader. These screen come up every time? Should I be hitting something else. I hope this makes sense
