Configurabe USB Loader No WBFS parition found!

I followed larrys guide, http://my.afterdawn.com/larrylje_redwings/blog_entry.cfm/4430, but after two attempts of following it i get the same error No WBFS partition found. I thought it didnt work the first time because i had two paritions. One WBFS, which it found and loaded games fine from. And the other fat from following his guide.

So I repartitioned and formatted the entire drive to fat etc, now i get this error.

I forgot to add a part in the guide. I have fixed the guide now to reflect the missing step.

What you need to do is drag the cfg52-fat.dol file (inside the Cfg_USB_Loader_52 folder) to the apps/USBLoader folder on the SD Card. In the apps/USBLoader folder delete the boot.dol file and rename cfg52-fat.dol to boot.dol

cfg52-fat.dol file is included in the Cfg_USB_Loader_52.zip (full) file you downloaded.

ahh its seems that forwarder, from the readme, i found it searches the SD Card first for the path. So I was using an old usb loader.

I bet it works now..

The default dol file they use is the one for WBFS formated drives. You need to replace the dol file with the FAT32 compatible dol file.

Just rename the cfg52-fat.dol to boot.dol and replace it with the dol file inside the apps/USBLoader on your USB Device.

Thanks for the reply. I actually didnt use the cfg52-fat.dol and it still works.

I just put the files, from the inSDRoot, to the SD root and it loads the fat32 partition and games fine. But it prob also downloads and stores covers to the SD card not the HD.

It stores covers it to the HDD Drive in the usb-loader directory not SD Card.
