Connect Wii to internet through USB wifi adapter

Hey guys, I've been having a problem connecting my wii to the internet for the past couple of years but I never really did anything about it because I don't really use the internet on it. I've recently changed my mind and decided that I want to connect it to the internet. I get wii error code 51330 when I try to connect. I know it's not my router because I have checked all of the settings and my friend's wii has no problem using my network. It was suggested to me that I get a wifi usb adapter and use that. I'm wondering if 1.) it has to be one of the discontinued nintendo wifi usb adapters and 2.) could I use something like this (http://www.sunvalleytek.com/bmz_cache/b/b856a320da72d2975723dd5f5ce3a5c6.image.400x300.jpg) instead and if so, how do I configure it? Thanks.

port foward your wii or give it a unique dynamic host. It might work.
