I have a modded wii, version 3.3E with Homebrew. I need to get it connected to the internet to download the latest IOSs with DOP-IOS. (Its never been connected before) Do i get the option NOT to update to version 4.2 when connected or is 4.2 updated automatically by nintendo. Thanks in advance.

you can choose no but there is no option to choose an earlier update

As I stated in your other thread. Google Waninkoko's 4.1 updater and run that using your homebrew channel. This will update you to 4.1 using your wifi connection.

You have to first set up your wifi. When you turn on your wifi it will ask you if you want to perform an update. Just say NO!
