Hi,

Anyone suggest the fastest method of copying 200+ IOS's from one WBFS drive to another new drive please?

I've just loaded up WBFS Manager 3.0 selected all the ISO's and chosen the 'copy to drive' option yet its taking ages!

Thanks

Going from USB Device to USB Device will probably take some time.

Going from USB to PC then from PC back to USB would probably be quicker.

What are you extracting them for?

Are you going to use a FAT32 partition and convert the games to WBFS files? If you are I would recommend using Wii Backup Manager. This will allow you to extract the games from the WBFS partition and will covert them to WBFS files (saving space from the normal 4.37GB ISO files).

Take a look at the Guide: Configurable USB Loader using FAT32 Partition (NO WBFS PARTITION NEEDED) guide in my sig.

I would still recommend using the guide in my sig.

After you follow the FILE PREPARATION:, CFG USB LOADER FORWARDER: and CFG USB LOADER: sections of the guide you can then follow the TRANSFER GAMES ON WBFS FORMATED DEVICE TO FAT32 FORMATED DEVICE: section to transfer the Games from your WBFS drive to his FAT32 drive.

After that you could format your drive to FAT32 then copy all files on your sons drive back to yours.

Using a FAT32 in my opinion is the better way to go now.

Right I got it now sorry didn't quite follow from you initial post so the part I was missing is that I wasn't aware with your guide I could plug a non-WBFS partitioned drive directly into the Wii.

Couple of additonal questions though as its certainley seems a good idea but...

If I have 1.5TB drives what is best to format them to FAT32 or NTFS? are there any pros/cons of either?
Also does this mean that I could no longer use WiiFlow as my USBloader of choice and would only be able to use CFG loader?

Thanks again

FAT32 would be best because most Homebrew apps use FAT32 file system. That means you can use the HDD for other Wii apps other then a USB Loader.

I checked the Wiiflow sight and it doesn't look like they have a version yet that can play WBFS files off a FAT32 USB Device.

I cloned 340 .isos between two USB 2.0 connected drives. It took about 8 hours.
