Hello,

I am the proud new owner of a Wii, so please forgive the newbie questions.

I've installed Homebrew channel and USB Loader GX channel and have backed up a few games.

Is it possible to add the backup games (that I can launch via the loader channel) as channels themselves? If so, is there a guide somewhere.

Thanks. This site is great as I've been reading for the past 3 days getting all setup.

I think I remember reading something about doing this, but it requires a WAD install. I try to stay away from doing any WADs, since I read about so many people bricking their wiis. Configurable USB loader has full cover support, too if your interested. I would just load games from external hard drive

I've tried this once, and can attest that it works. The way it works is the games are launched via a channel on the System Menu. These channels, of course, are installed as WADs using WAD Manager. The actual games are stored in a USB HDD as raw files (WBFS). The reason that I removed them is I wanted a very clean and un-cluttered System Menu. And although the installed channels only took up a small number of memory blocks, a few games can can add up to a good number . You can find the tut here.
