You cannot rip wii games on your computer unless you have one of a short list of discontinued LG brand DVD drives. And even then you can only rip them with rawdump (Or friidump for dual layer games)

If you can't get one of those drives then you must use some wii homebrew programs to dump the game from the wii to your PC via wifi, or use a USB loader to dump the game to a USB drive.[/quote

i am new to this site and have been trying to download iso fo a while with very poor results. i have not read the guides because i did not you had guides.

1 i have a old dual layer lg drive i did not see your list of drives.
2i started trying to get iso off of iso searches etc. i had homebrew put on my wii about 8 months ago (not knowing till just recently) the homebrew was installed improperly. i did not even have a sd card in my wii. i asume this is right i need a sd card in all the times. so i had a modchip put in. i have had about 25% luck with the iso working. i tried burning with imgburn and verbatum disks.i tried at 4x and even max. your site suggested 4x the modchip installer told me max. i found an ad on craigslist advertising softmodding and modding wii x-boxes etc. so i had him look at my wii. he told me about the bad homebrew and he said the modchip installation was messy questionable installation. any way he put in homebrew and sold me some games they work fine.he did copy a game in the wii putting it on a flash drive connected to the usb. of course he sell games so he is not going to show me what do do with the games onct they are in the computer.he mentioned vobblanker to me,and using a google search i found out about the software i asked about. the search ended me up at your site.
3 now i would like to get my wii games the easiest way possible. is it ripping. or downloading isos. it would be nice to no both ways. how do i no if my lg drive will work
