Delete files from SD (softmoded wii)

Got a couple of questions I would like to seek confirmation on:

(1) Is it safe to delete the following folders from my SD card. I susspect they have been created from the DOP-IOS process as indicated within http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-154/...2_guide-797772/

Folders:
00000001
00010002

(2) Bootmii folder
Do I do need this folder on the SD card, I assume so as one is an .ini file? I haved installed as IOS - so do I need the three files armboot.bin / bootmii.ini / ppcboot.elf

You can delete...

If you delete the Bootmii file make sure you place it on your PC. That way if you ever need to recover from a brick you can add the Bootmii folder back onto the SD card and load Bootmii to recover.
