Okay, so i bought and softmodded a wii for my little brother and for reasons that are still unclear he deleted the homebrew channel from the wii. Instead of killing him i just took a deep breath and started to remod it. i went to bannerbomb then installed the hackmii and all that stuff and i am now having trouble installing the wad manager, backup launcher etc. It seems obvious to me now that i am having all this trouble because these files are already installed but im stuck. What the hell do i do, lol? I just want the system softmodded again. Can anybody help?

So, you were able to recover HBC, but you can't install WAD Manager and Backup Launcher? What errors are you getting, if any?

I was having trouble with my console after trying to update the shop channel. It stopped playing backups and my hdd wouldn't load. So the first thing I did was... Remod the system from scratch. Make sure you do a nand back up before you go too far though, beccause there is a chance you'll brick your wii if it's not done in the right order.
