Disc Read Errors During game play!

My wii used to work perfect now I get Disc Read Errors during Gameplay on most of my games, I use verbatim disc, I burn at 2.4 with imaburn, I tryied blowing the inside of the wii out to no success, I also recently got a new dvd burner so I know thats not it either, I have a Wiikey updated to all recent updates, Any suggestions to what I need to do to get it fixed and if I need to replace anything where I can get it for a decent price....thanks~!

hey oaks your lens is dirty. I suggest opening up your wii and cleaning out the lens with a lens cleaning solution. If not you can buy nintendos lens kit.

the best step would be open up the wii clean the back fan thats been collecting dust. Open up the wii further and remove the dvd reader. Unscrew 8 screws on the backside and slowly remove the entire casing revealing the lens take a swab and clean it. Also clean all dust inside. This will stop the disc read errors.
