I've searched the web for the last couple weeks on how to install the Homebrew channel and how to use all it's wonderfull options. I've used the emulators to play roms from other systems however the quality isn't very good. What I really want to do is install the coverfloater for the wii games. However after watching countless videos online and following all the instructions to a "T" I am still unable. The cios36 file will not load and when I go to use the Wad manager 1.4 it gives me an error 2011. From other forums I understand I need to downgrade my wii's firmware to get it to work. I also tried this, however I recieved another error. I'm not sure if I'm not useing the correct files or if I'm doing the process incorrect. As a newbee at this I am begging for some help. As stated before I have done countless hours of research to figure this out on my own but was unsuccessful.

Have you tried using one of Larrylje's guides on here? He's done an awesome job of putting together a great softmod guide.
