I have softmodded several wii, and this is the fist time I have ever had this error. In fact I just modded a wii using the same guide from wiihacks that has always worked well for me. BUt this wii mod went perfect untill I tried to install the .wad channels like usb loader gx and some others.
I get this error when installing:
error -1029
The files are not corrupt, just used them sucessfully. This wii is v 4.0u. I have read of simular problems but not this exact error. Most other ideas are to downgrade, idk if those thread are old or what, but I thought any firmware would work now, I have done newer firmwares than this and got them working, any ideas??

make sure you are using wad manager 1.7
and i stopped getting the errors
