Heres the deal: My External HDD used to work with my wii, I was watching movies with mplayerce and it kept freezing. I turned the wii off and when i turned it back on it no longer reads that hard drive. (Which is a 1tb lacie with a 30gb fat partition, 130gb wbfs and 800gb ntfs.) This drive still works with my computer. My sisters External 250gb WD with 1 fat partiton however is able to be read by the wii. Please help. My 360 dvd drive has recently failed and now i can't play anything!!

I'm no expert on HDD, but maybe try re-formatting it?? I'm just taking wild stabs until someone with more HDD experience comes along, do anything at your own risk.

Thanks man ya i deleted the two smaller partitions and made a new fat partition and still nothing, might just have to buy a new hard drive when i get the money
