Faster Wii backups with LAN adapter or USB networking cable?

I started backing up my games the other day using Wii HTTP + ISO Dumper.
I first had a download of around 400KB/sec... seems normal to take around 2.5 hrs like other reports that I have read about to backup a 4.7 GB DVD.
Does anyone have any experience with this setup using the wired wii internet connection(the WII LAN adapter)? Anyone do it getting any dump speed better than 400 KB/sec? (I want the easy to burn ISO)
Just want to know if its worth finding a wired usb to ethernet adapter cable...
Also, I was thinking that a USB networking cable could be used to network the WII to my PC... and then you could possibly Rip a DVD at 400+ MB/sec! that would be wild. Anyone TRY THIS? will a usb 2.0 networking cable work with a Wii?

Think about it.

It doesn't matter WHAT you attach to the USB port. You will never be any faster than the USB port.

If anything, attaching Ethernet to the USB port will be slower.

You can attach a 10" dia. pipe to a 1" outlet but your maximum output will be only be what the 1" pipe can deliver.

Also, there are reports that Superdump is faster.

There is also the factor of which game you are trying to dump and how much "garbage space" is on the game. I have seen Wii games with as little as 383MB "real" data and some as large as 4.2GB.
