hello, i'm new here, this is my first post. anyways, here is my question; i purchased a 1TB HDD today to play on my cfg loader, i went to format it using the software suggested in larry's guide, but i find his guide has been taken down. can anyone point me to the link, or another good piece of software? also, storage space is lost when converting to fat32 from ntfs correct? approximately how much storage space would my drive have after the conversion, out of curiosity? hopefully this hasn't been covered as i have searched and read pretty thoroughly. thank you. paul

a 1TB drive formats to about 970GB if has a slight difference depending on the format - but the bytes remain the same!

What did you want to format it to

WBFS - plug it into the Wii and let the loader do it
FAT32 - Use a Mac, or if on windows 7 use that, on XP and below look for a program called Swissknife (its free) this will partition and format to Fat32
NTFS - Use Windows
