I have a US Wii (4.1)modded as per steps in the latest guide by Larry. I have been using Verbatim -R 16X discs burning them at 2X.

I got the ntsc iso for g-force. However I cannot play the game. It keeps hanging after I select - New game- it just says "loading".

I got the pal version and was able to play by selecting "ntsc" in the neogamma loader menu.

So I thought maybe the ntsc ISO that I have could be a problem. So got another ISO from another source. This has the same issue as the first ntsc ISO.

Any thoughts as to why PAL version works but NTSC does not?

I looked at this thread

which has the same issue but it is for neogamma R6 whereas my version is neogamma R7

P.S.this would not normally be a problem but since my son is the one who plays the game, it is difficult for him to remember to change the setting to use PAL version

Utilize RegionFrii to patch the ISO to NTSC-U and then burn it.

I'm afraid I did not understand your reply.

Should I use RegionFrii to patch the NTSC ISO that I have and that does not work or should I patch the PAL ISO that I have and that does work?

Please let me know.

Patch the working ISO PAL version to NTSC so you don't have to make that change in Neogamma.
