I'm trying to get Oberlord: Dark Legacy to work. The console is NTSC, and the game is also NTSC, however despite removing the 001 and 002 errors, it just outright refuses to load. The game *will* however appear on the system menu, it's just that when I click on it, it says "an error has occured. Press the eject button..."

Is there any way to get the game to work? I did not tamper with the region or run brick blocker on it (no need too) if that helps. Also, too rule out the disc being too dirty as a problem, I tried backing the game up to a microSD card; same story. Good news? The Wii plays every other game *except* this one.

Since you said that you "backed it up", this would indicate that you have the original.

Does the original work?

If not, and you have no proven working backups, your image is bad or your burn is bad.

Eather this is the first "new" backup you have done in a whiule, If so newer games with backup loader gamma tends to give off the error 002.

Use Neogamma, it's an updated version of Backup loader. See links of 1 and 1a of my sig.

1) Backup Launcher is old. Neogamma is new http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884
1A) to get the Neogamma Channel http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165485
2) Superdump (Requires homebrew) dump your game in 30 minutes. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/780900
3) Make your Wii skip updates! Use preloader 0.29 and enable skip updates. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader
4) Scared of Bricking your Wii? Make an NAND backup! Install BootMii http://bootmii.org/install/

Mostly what I'm trying to do is to get the thing to work via SD card to cut down on loading times. Also, I'm able to get the game to work by using a backup launcher, so the backup disc will work, just not in the usual way (by clicking on the game icon in the upper left hand corner). However, even though the disc will work, the backup to the microSD card won't. Any clues?

Also, if it helps any, I was able to get Resident Evil Archives to work via jumpdrive, and since that is a new game, and I was able to get it to work, I'm puzzled as to why I have problems now.
