I have followed the guides and tried a few different launchers. I get the launcher to recognize the game (says title on screen) then whatever i pick, NTSC, 480P it briefly shows nintendo logo then goes black but you can hear the game and play it without a picture? Is this because i have the HD cables hooked up and you need to have one single video cable because gamecube was never HD? The game is super mario sunshine. Thanks if anyone can lead me in the right direction. I supose it could be a bad burn, but it does show the nintendo logo sometimes and the sound is always there.

if you hear the sound and the picture isnt showing it means you are running a different region game. Check to see if that mario sunshine is pal / japanese and not ntsc. You must run ntsc if you are forcing ntsc. Pal can cause the black screen.

ok i have made a multi iso disc. and so far Super smash bros & wind waker work the way they should. Super mario sunshine has no picture, but when i switch to the 3 cable wire instead of the HD cable i can get it in black and white pal? I push the y button for NTSC & tried the 480P setting? It seems like its just mario sunshine and i made sure it was a usa rom? what else could it be for this one game...and really its the only game i wanted to play on gamecube anyway.

use gcm utility to make sure its not a pal game just dont assume man. Second of all dont compress the multidisk iso game sometime compressing them causes errors like this to fit more games in. You should be able to fit 3 games to a disk using gcosv4f.exe. These errors you speak of are typical errors of your wii not detecting the right region of your game. Black screen or black and white means pal game on ntsc system.

i appreciate the help but for some reason no version of GCM i download works. It just clicks on for 1 second then goes off...i've tried numerous sites, numerous version. I click on the GCM.exe button and bam its off before i can even do anything? Is there something else your supposed to do once you download it?

thats tough luck for you because i have all 3 version that work with windows and we cant post links here or email addresses. So you are on your own. Plus if the gcm utility you are using doesnt respond because it goes on and off right away it means you have to access it via dos mode. Im not going to teach you how to use dos so read the read me.

for gcosv4f the dos syntax is like gcosv4f.exe [iso name] [region] game1.iso/gcm etc
