I'm using wii v4.1, and wiiflow v1.1
Games were working fine the last time we played. today out of the blue, the Madden football 10 and 11 freeze up after a few minutes of play, and a bunch of others don't make it past the credits before the screen goes black.
I am a softmod virgin, so be patient. My ex-boyfriend did it for me, and now he won't help and told me to go to this site and figure it out.
I also have USB Loader GX on there, but it never would download the covers so that's why I switched to wiiflow.
I read about a similar problem on here, and the guy had to reformat his hd. Please tell me there is an easier fix! It's probably something really simple... right?
HELP !
Hmm... it doesn't sound like a soft mod problem. More like a hardware problem. Maybe overheating or the usb hd is overstuffed with files. What was the last thing you did to the wii before it started acting up?

Ummm.... probably stuffing it with games!! I don't think its overheating. we always turn it off after play, and this problem starts immediately after we turn it on.
Is there a way to see how full it is? Other than unplug it and plug into my laptop maybe? I'm not even sure how may gb it is...
thanks for your help!!
LATER... I downloaded wbfs manager and it shows i have 80 gb left of 149 total. So it can't be full. Is there an application that will diagnose this drive and maybe fix it?
hmmm first of all sorry to say this but your bf sounds like a dushe \^ ^/
Secondly USB Loader GX not downloading covers is very strange.... as I have never heard of this happening before... Did your bf install this as well lol.... maybe you might do a better job.
I suggest you try updating your wiiflow program, on the settings there should be a button to update or you might need to download the updated version and copied to your SD.
But before that, try taking out your SD card from your wii and put it back in and see if that fixes the problems you are having. Or put your SD card on your computer, re-format it and copy over all the files for wiiflow on to your card. (But before you do this make sure you make a copy of all the files on your SD card and just replace a new copy of wiiflow).
Also maybe it could be like the guys said up above that your HDD is drying...though I doubt it or else u would not be able to play anything.
Another thing you can do is unplug all the wii cables and the wii and HDD. Have no cables plugged in also it must have no electricity going to it.
Leave it for about 30 mins and then plug it all back in.
One of these steps should fix your problems....if it doesnt then I would suggest you check the USB cable connected to the wii and the HDD ... it might be that it`s not plug properly or it`s bent.
