Hi I have a soft md wii v-3.1 ...everything seem to be working fine I am able to rip dvd to the usb drive and the game work fine... When I copy games from my friend usb drive using WBFS manager to my usb drive none of the games are working....do I need to update ISO on my wii?

If your wii is on firmware 3.1 then most games will not work. Update the wii and follow larry's guide to reinstall the necessary files.
