Obviously I will not update my Wii to 4.2

BUT

Do I need to have a wii at 4.1 or can it be any firmware under 4.2

If not and needs to be 4.1, how can i just update to 4.1 without getting near 4.2

flame's are fine, just want to make sure i dont mess up another wii
