Getting Gamecube games to play on the Wii

I have a Wii and Gamecube games, but I don't know how to go about playing the Gamecube game on the Wii? Can someone politely help?

If they are original games all you have to do is put the game in and go to the disc channel. You need a Gamecube controller and memory card.

If they are backups you have to patch the MIOS and put the Gamecube Backup Launcher in the apps folder on your SD card so it will show up in the Homebrew Channel or you can also install a wad of it using Wad Manager.
