GH World Tour DLC on GH 5 trouble

Hello,
I've tried downloading the free update for GH world tour from the music store and it seems it never lets me access the songs. I can see them and hear them but it says you need the update when i try to download the free update. I am using a usb loader is that the problem? i can play those World tour songs fine on world tour but cant with GH5. I even tried the V2 update but it seems that it downloads forever then never shows up. any help would be appreciated.
