Grand Slam Tennis Online Conection errors

Can anyone else tell me if they get connection problems when they try to play on line, i am playing a copied version using the homebrew channel gamma backup launcher?

Everytime i try to play on line i find an opponent, then the game goes to load then it says "connection to opponent has been lost" this happens probably 8 out of ten times, the odd few times i get to connect its brilliant it just does not connect enough, is this a common fault with EA, if not what could be the problem.

P.S - i can play with wii friends on-line all the time its just through EA buddies etc that i have a problem....
