supposedly it's IOS56. my IOS249 uses base 57, and runs without freezing. also have IOS80 installed just to keep the system updated as much.

don't care about burning since configurable usb loader is superior over discs. also, everyone is having problems burning it too so why even hassle. if you want the game on disc, BUY IT!

You will find the following regarding USB Loader:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Metroid: Other M keeps crashing.

Dual layer games don't work well with IOS249 rev 14. Try using Hermes' IOS222/223 or rev 15 of IOS249 to install and play the game

I bought the game at launch and just now tried to play it. Says an error has occurred. I thought retail games would play no matter what? I'm on 4.2u softmod. Heck could be 4.1u. Can't remember

Original games only play the IOS they require is installed during the update. This process can be done using WAD Manager, without updating the system menu. The IOS56 WAD can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?cms8yg5pw7yrosy
