right I've installed ios56 and then io37 as ios232 but when I go to softchip there isn't an option for ios 232, anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've followed all the instructions to the letter, and it's annoying the hell outta me

it's all good, I got it worked out, just had to install a newer version of ios249 and started again.
