Hi, basically I need some advice to overcome a problem i`m having with installing the homebrew channel to allow me to play copied games. I`ve followed the new improved softmod guide and when I get to the load bootmii screen i get the following message screen,
HackMii installer v0.2
This installer can NOT continue!
There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.
Please note that we will not use a fakesigned IOS due to security reasons.
Look for updated version at:
http://bootmii.org If this is already the latest version...well,suck it.

I did have homebrew channel, along with backup launcher, installed on my Wii about a week ago when my Wii was version 3.4e (i have since upgraded to 4.1) but it wouldn`t play back up games(`this disc cannot be read`message), then I found the excellent guide on here so i deleted the homebrew and backup launcher channel so I could start from scratch following the better softmod guide on here, now i`m left with the message above and a very angry wife because i`ve spent so much time on the computer over the last 2 weeks trying to find a solution to this problem. Please help.
Why did you delete everything? After upgrading to 4.1 all you had to do was install the IOS60PATCHED.WAD using wad manager and you would have been all set.
Hi, I deleted the channel before I updated to 4.1. That was when I didn`t have very good understanding of how it all works. Anyway, literally seconds after I finished writing my initial post, I was curious to see if all the messing about had damaged my wii in such a way that it wouldn`t play original copies so I put mario cart in and it said it was updating. After that had finished I tried to load the softmod files off the sd card again and, hey presto, it worked. Can`t believe that was all that was needed. Anyway thanks for the reply.
I am having the same issues. Can't reinstall the HBC after it was removed. It started to do an update then it gives an error number of 32017. But now shows Ver 4.1U
I am using HackMii 0.2 and it fails.
Error "homebrew channel wii there is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this wii"
Any thoughts?
