having trouble reinstalling the homebrew channel

hey guys, i stupidly decided to get the latest channels on my 4.1e wii which was softmodded about a year ago by someone else, i used to play my backups from backup launcher 0.3 channel and gamma 0.3 so i installed neogamma backup channel (i also updated a few things along the way). after it finished the homebrew channel was upside down so i erazed it so i could install again. problem is when i put my sd card in the wii it says ... hackmii installer v0.6 this installer can NOT update there is no known vulnerable ios installed on this wii bla bla, so i can not reinstall the hbc. all my games are still working though and ive been doing alot of research, and a few weeks ago i followed the guide and i softmodded someone elses wii(without really understanding what anything meant) im so sorry but i am trying to lern any help would be much appreciated thankyou

also when i play a game through the new neogamma channel it says your cios has revision 7 neogamma was written for revision 14 and up... but i can still play the game. cheers
