HDD for mplayerwii

Hey,

I've had a seagate 3.5" playing videos fine through mplayerwiiCE for the last year, but it recently died. So I went out and bought a 2.5" WD 'my passport SE', since its small and cheap... but for some reason I cant get it to work with MPlayerwii, and I have no idea why.

The drive works on my PC, i've transferred files to it. In MPlayer, select PlayFile>USB>NTFS and get a msg like 'ntfs not mounted correctly'. I know the drive is formatted to NTFS, so thats not the problem, doesnt make any sense.

Also tried the drive in a different hacked wii, through MPlayer and no luck.

Anyone have any ideas? Am I missing something simple?

Try WiiMC I use that with my passport works fine . I guess its not supported by mplayerwiiCE .
