Metroid: Other M is coming out soon and that's enough reason to pick it back and dust it off.
Obviously nobody knows if there will be certain patches and stuff needed to play Metroid, but is there a version I should be up to in order to have less problems getting it to run? Last patches I ever installed were to get virtual console games to run. (Castlevania:Rebirth)
I'm using a Wasabi Zero wii with some softmods on it also.
Thanks for any help! I can JTag all day long, but the Wii still baffles me sometimes with it's patching and updating and wadding and all that!

You should only need to install the IOS WAD it needs instead of updating. If you do not need to update, there may be something else you have to do, but until the game is actually released, we don't know for sure.
