hi all

soft modded my wii a few months ago and been playing games from my 1tb hard drive. never had any problems up until now. i use wiiflow 249 when starting up it takes longer than usual to load hard drive. i am still able to see all files on drive but when i come to load one of them it will go to the please wait screen and thats where it stops and gets stuck!! anybody have any idea what to do to fix the problem ?? should i wipe everything from wii and start again?? if so how do i do that??

i have another drive which seems to work fine. so reformated my drive and copy all files from a friends drive which i know works!! but still no joy. also plugged her drive in and wii wont load any files from hers either. the drive that works is only a 80gb my friend is 500gb mine 1tb would it have something to do with that? if so why was it working all fine before? also i havent changed anything to wii or drive

first, update you IOS249 to cIOS38_rev17.

next, either update wiiflow to the latest version, or my recommendation, switch to configurable usb loader.

Thank you very much for your tip. Is there anywhere on here where it tells me step by step to do all that?

Not really a technical buff and only managed to softmod my wii due to the great styep by step instruction on this site.
