I have a nand backup, but bootmii was installed as IOS. Is there anyway to get to bootmii IOS to reinstall nand without HBC?... or am I going to have to get Lego Indiana/SSBB.
Basically if you have a forwarder channel installed then you can replace the boot.dol for that app on the SD card with the HBC installer and get it that way. Otherwise your only options currently are the brawl or indiana jones hacks.
I know of no other way of reinstalling the homebrew channel other than the Wii hacks tutorial, i have had both a virgin wii and a wii that had once had the homebrew channel updated to 4.3, and these tutorials are quite time consuming, but they do work. Do take your time and follow the instructions EXACTLY as they are written and you will get through it.
I did a 4.3 updated Wii system (virgin) the other day. Used this guide HERE and it worked perfect.
If you have a aplication forwarder installed you might not need Indiana Jones Original Adventures or Super Smash Bros Brawl.
You will need to run the Hackmii installer. So under that section look at Part 1- Launch Hackmii Installer on how to use a forwarder (Other desperate options) to run the Hackmii Installer (instead of 1 of the above games).
