Help with playing latest games on modded Wii

I'm looking to play the latest games on my modded wii.
Its running 3.2e and using the gamma loader.

I know I have a few options, but was wondering what was the best option.

From what I have read I can
- Install new CIOS files
- Install a different loader
- Upgrade to 4.2e and start again.

Was wondering what the best option would be?
And also which ever option is the best one, could somebody possibly point me in the right direction?

I know it may seem a lot to ask, especially from a new user, but I have been reading up, a lot tbf, but just want to make sure I take the best course of action

If you are not concern about the added functionality of SDHC support, and just mainly concern about running backups using a launcher you can remain at 3.2E. However, you need to ensure you possess the latest cIOS--cIOS38 Rev14 along with Neogamma 7.

If you decide to update, I suggest you update to firmware 4.1 only as there were no valuable features introduced in 4.2.
