i have a wasabi dx chip with ver 3 update when i back up super mariobros.wii all starts to work ok them it locks up to a black screen saying press eject and turn off ref wii owners book tthe lock up happens 2 min in to the game other times 10min + not at set points or time
backup is done with rawdump 2.o burn with nero at 4x speed and have tryed imgburn at 4x

you mean when you run a NSMB back up!!??
It could just be a bad burn. Try reburning it again. Do all your other back ups work!?!
If they do then it`s just a bad back up, if it keeps happening to alot of your back ups I suggest either changing DVD brands or check if your burner is working properly.

If other games work properly (which were burned before) then the Wii seems to be ok.
I would suggest you softmod your wii and then back up your games to a HDD. It takes less that 5 mins to backup your game to your HDD through your Wii.

i have reburned and repulled from the disk i am useing verbatim dvd-r burner works fine for dvd and mp3 i have just tryed a dvd+r but stilll no look all help needed my wii firmware is 4.3e

if the backup you have is NTSC, then that's your problem. get a PAL version. 4.2 and up kill region free on all modchips.


or skip the hassles of burning and worrying about regions, and softmod. usb loaders can play all regions with no burning.
