Hello all,

I softmod already my wii(4.3)and everything is fine but I have 2 question

1. SD card has to be inserted on the wii al the times or I soonest Im done with the softmod I can removed?

2.usb loader works fine but I can't play backup games on dvd backup launcher (dvd read error 1167) my question is my dvd drive is no compatible with that? I just got this Wii (black one ) I hava old one and back up dvd's works fine.

Any help is really apprecciated thanks

the sd card needs to be in the wii if you use it to store the files for your loader
game pics stuff like that

unless you have it installed on your hard drive instead
then you use that instead of the sd card

and you guessed it your wii has the new drive that wont let you play backup disks

as far as i can tell they started putting those drives in around november 2009

if you have a FAT32 partition on your hard drive, you don't need a SD card if the apps support hard drive loading. my configurable usb loader will run directly off my hdd, with full covers/descriptions/ocarina cheats.
