I was at 3.2U and was playing games off my HD through USB Loader GX and using homebrew fine. I ran out of space from my SD Card and already had a SDHC. So I made sure I updated HBC and DVDx and cIOS 249 rev15. Then I updated through the System Settings Menu. Now I just get a black screen when loading HBC and a black screen with a bunch of errors on it when I load USB Loader GX from the forwarder channel. I tried reinstalling HBC using Bannerbomb v2 but it says no vulnerable IOS found. I even tried loading USB Loader GX through it and it gave me a black screen also. I also tried Waninkoko's firmware downgrader as last resorts, but it gave the same black screen. So all homebrew I load gives me a black screen except USB Loader GX forwarder channel, which gives me Exception occurred with a bunch of random numbers and letters. Only the hackmii installer loads through Bannerbomb and nothing else. Is there anything I can do? I really wish I never updated. :(

Thanks

pretty much screwed yourself over. you need at least access to wad manager to get back the vulnerable IOS back. but since you can't even access HBC, you can't do anything.

if you have boot2 bootmii installed and a copy of your previous NAND, restore it.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Try this:
Replace hackmii installer (boot.elf in your SD card) with this boot.dol file from this archive of AnyTitle Deleter. If you can boot to it through the SD card menu, uninstall IOS30 from the Wii. Afterwards, replace AnyTitle Deleter with Dop-IOS MOD boot.dol file and install IOS36 v1040 with IOS36 loaded. Finally, attempt to proceed with normal Hackmii installation. Hope this helps...

Can you post the search page where you found the link? IS that against the rules?
