Wiikey v1 & v2 are soldered modchip, I suggest you get a professional to remove it, if you rip it out you may cause some damage to the main motherboard inside the wii.

I was wondering this as well. There's no way to tell if the wii is modded short of actually trying to load a backup copy of a game. No one would know unless they were attempting to mod it anyway, and even then they may not notice as most people softmod now.
I'm with Karlroby, If you know the wii is chipped for positive and works, I would include that it is modded therefore could even up the price for the extra feature, but if they dont allow you to sell modded consoles such as ebay, dont tell them! I cant imagine someone getting a wii, it working, and finding out it has the capability of playing back ups and complaining about it.
Just sell it on craigslist or something. It cost me $80 to mod my wii. Just charge like $40 more than you want and state that it's modded. Trust me, someone will buy it.
