Hi All,

bought a Wii a month ago and already bored with the games i have. Can Wii be modded so that i can play copied games on?

Had a search but i'm quite confused.. is there different ways of modding Wii to play copied games? Is there a a guide that i can follow.. what do i need?

but looking at the guide,

it says it's not for playing illegal games? i want to play copied games though. any light on this?

also how do you check what version Wii i have?

There are no guides for playing illegal games because providing a guide for that would be illegal. But there are plenty of guides for playing backup copies of games that you own. Very handy for those of us who have relatives who destroy game disks.

Some unscrupulous people may use the guides for playing illegally copied games, but those are not who the guides are written for.

And you can check what firmware your wii is on by checking the settings menu.
