Hi everyone. I am trying to play the Super Mario Wii NTSC backup but I heard you have to install a Neo_gamma_R7.wad and a CIOs rev 14.

But when I go to Home Brew Channel, I do not see a Wad Installer? I created a folder "wad" and downloaded the Wad Manager 1.4 file in the "wad" folder (which is located in the root of the SD Card. Yes, I have formatted the SD Card to FAT32. Am I doing something wrong?

The Neogamma R7 wad file goes into the wad folder.

WAD Manager folder goes into the apps folder so HBC can see it.

Follow the 4.2 softmod guide in my sig. This will install everything you need.

NSMB also needs to be patched in order for it to work (do a Google search). If you don't want to patch it I have heard the newest beta NeoGamma R8 will load it without patching.

Hi Larry,

Thanks for the reply. I put the wadmanager in the "apps" folder and also the cIOS rev 14 in the "apps" folder. Now when I go to the Home Brew Channel, I can see both. Problem is, when I try to run cIOS rev14, I select IOS 249 and hit the A button to continue, my controller someone freezes (lights go one and then disappear) then dies out. It happens when I try to install Wad Manager also.....everytime I hit the A button. Am I doing something wrong?

When I extract AnyTitleDeleter, it gives me

data folder
boot.dol
icon.png
meta.xml

Am I suppose to extract all 3 files and 1 folder to the "AnyTitleDeleter" folder in the "apps" folder?

The guide clearly says to extract the file to the AnyTitleDeleter folder you created in the apps folder.

HI Larry,

Sorry, but the guide was not too clear. It says to extract to the folder, so I assume ALL files. That is what I did.

I have successfully installed bootmii as boot2 (not ISO).
The instructions state below:
I am confused as to where to go, it automatically booted HBC.

I dont see the icon gears or chip with green arrow. I am at teh HBC screen, after bootmii installed as boot2.

BACK UP NAND (BOOTMII):

DO NOT FORGET TO DISSCONNECT THE GAME CUBE CONTROLER AFTER YOU BACKUP YOUR NAND!

Bootmii as Boot2 will boot menu when Wii is turned on. Navigate using a Gamecube Controller or Power Reset.

Bootmii as IOS will boot from Homebrew Channel Home button screen. Navigate using Game Cube Controller. If you do not have a Game Cube Controller then try using power/reset buttons to navigate the Bootmii menu. (if the power/reset button does not navigate the menu then you will need a Gamecube Controller).

How to backup NAND:

Select the icon with Gears to go to NAND settings.

Select the icon with a chip with green arrow pointing to SD Card to backup NAND.

And me.. I have backed up 3x times now and can't seem to get past the start up screen. I select 'Super Mario Bros.Wii' START, it thinks for a while, Mario runs about on the screen for a few seconds then I am back at the main menu. I have started a thread so hopefully someone can help (mine is modded with Drivekey chip) if you guys get any assistance would be happy if you can pass it on.. I am just doing my 4th copy (which is 7 hours in total seems strange but though I would give it a go... )
