I am wanting to play some backups on my Wii Ver. 4.2U I am using the homebrew channel 1.0.8, IOS61 v21.29. I used HackMii installer v0.8 and I am using IOS versions installer:61, HBC:61. I installed BootMii as IOS. I have ripped a few of my Wii games to my mac and made an ISO then burnt them to a blank DVD. I have a USB drive connected to the Wii also. I have been able to do everything except actually get a game to play using a Backup DVD. It seems like I have everything I need to get ti to work but Im missing something somewhere, PLEASE HELP!

Burned disks won't normally launch through the disk channel, you need a program to get them running. What loader program are you using? Neogamma is generally the most recommended one.
