(ret = -1035) means there is no vulnerable IOS. Go to my 4.2 softmod guide in my sig and redo the DOWNGRADE IOS15, PATCH IOS36 and RESTORE IOS15 steps again.
Also make sure you do the AnyTitleDeleter section after doing the above steps.

Hi Guys,
Am having the sam problems as people have described, and keep getting the ret -1035 error when trying to install the "cIOS38_rev14-installer". I have gone through the redo the DOWNGRADE IOS15, PATCH IOS36 and RESTORE IOS15 steps 2 times now. And also gone through the AnyTitle Deleter and delted any of the files listed by larry. The only files i now have left in the AnyTitle Deleter are as follows:
IOS61
IOS60
IOS57
IOS56
IOS55
IOS53
IOS51
IOS50
IOS16
IOS10
(IOS21)
(MIOS)
(BC)
(SYSMENU)
(IOS9)
(IOS4)
If i try to install the rev14 on IOS249 the remote freezes and i have to then reboot, therefore am currently stuck at on this section below of the guide:
cIOS38_rev14:
Start the Homebrew Channel and run "cIOS38_rev14 Installer".
Select IOS36 for the IOS to use for Instillation.
Select WAD Installation.
After the cIOS is installed the Wii should reboot to the Wii Channel menu
I have also tried a Network Installation instead of WAD install and still got the same error.
If i try installing it on ISO35 i then get the ret -2011 error.
My Wii OS version is 4.2E. I was on 3.3 and had my homebrew set up untill my brother updated the Wii to 4.2E and then everything kept freezing, but i can now only get so far with this.
Please help Larry or any other great helps out there....
Thanks Guys...

Guys,
I sorted it...
This is what i did:
Instead of installing the 'cIOS38_rev14-installer' on IOS 36 i did it on IOS 250, some people said you can use IOS 269 but that did not work for me. So that solved it..and i just followed rest of the guide.
In addition i used the USB_Loader_Pack to launch my Mario game and this work like a gem. I suggest you follow the USB_Loader_Pack guide on here if you need it, look at Larrys sig its all there.
A very big thank you to Larry for providing lots of help and info on this, if i could see you right now Larry i would hug you :-)
See you soon guys...
Thanks Guys...

If you followed the guide the way it says you should have used Any Title Deleter to delete IOS222 IOS223 IOS249 and IOS250. Doing this will allow cIOS38_rev14 install to IOS249.

The guide I saw was for 4.1 and lower. I have 4.2U version of the menu, and I am getting this -1035 error. I have am using this guide:
http://lifehacker.com/5518518/how-to-bac...rnal-hard-drive
I have the home brew channel working and DOP-Mii said it completed successfully. I have tried both cIOS Installer 38r17 and Xr19 and get this error. I haven't tried Any Title Deleter since I have the 4.2 version and am unsure what to remove safely.
Thanks,
Pauley

I went ahead and deleted 222/223/249/250 and that seemed to make it work.
