Installing HBC with Argon

Hi, all.

I cannot find an answer anywhere and i hope one of you guys can help.

I have a white wii which is hard modded with an Argon Chip. Since the latest FW update a lot of my backups dont work as i use brickblocker on them but i have been told that i can install the HBC and boot the game through that.

How do i go about installing the HBC with a hard modded Wii?

Will it do what i want it to?

If i update my Wii will it break the HBC?

Will i have to run the games which dont work from USB rather than disc?

Hopefully you guys can help me.

First of all, most games do not work if you use Brickblocker. Brickblocker removes system updates which include IOSs the games need to run. Second of all, when you've updated to the latest firmware(4.3), your modchip will lose it's capability to play games from a different region.

However this can be fixed with a complete softmodding, not just installing the Homebrew Channel. If your games still don't work after softmodding using one the guides linked below, you will have to resort to USB Loading.

Make sure you check your firmware to make sure you're using the correct guide, if you use the wrong guide for the wrong firmware, things can go horribly wrong.
