I've modded my wii a lil under a year ago, and I've installed iso 38 53 and 55 when they came out. I havent seen IOS50-64-v4889 on any site saying its necessary to install and so far all my games work. Can anyone tell me what IOS50-64-v4889 that ios does? What is it for?

IOS50 is used for 3.4 system menu.

I'm currently on 3.4U softmodded, do I need this? So far all games work with neogama r4 and cios38 rev14. What will this iso50 do?

If you are on 3.4 firmware then you already have IOS50. It is used to run 3.4 firmware.

3.2/3.3 = IOS30

3.4 = IOS50

4.0/4.1 = IOS60

4.2 = IOS70

So those IOS are used for System Menus not games.
