When installing new ios's how do we know where to install them and what program to use. i'm seeing a lot of threads for installing the new ios53 one thread says to instal using dop-ios and instal to ios 50 and other threads state that u use WAD manager and install to IOS249. i do have both

I've done a lot of searching before posting and i'm not finding anything. if anyone know of a good guide to learning this please let me know. most of what i find when searching for "IOS install" or "how to install IOS" "ios53" the closest thing i can find in a google search is "what is ios" but that really just gives you the VERY basics and not really much info on installing and what-not.

Thanks for your help.

With plenty of failed attempts you will always know what not to do.

With WAD Manager, you need the WAD file present in your SD card. Dop-IOS, on the other hand, lets you download/install official Nintendo IOS and allow you to apply the trucha bug. You have to keep in mind that with heaps of information over the internet it is very easy to be misguided. Also, one issue can oftentimes be resolved in several ways. My suggestion is to install the on-hand WAD files you have to IOS249 via WAD Manager.
