I have a soft modded Wii that hasn't been updated for a while. I'm trying to play Metroid Other M and I keep getting some error that I have never seen before. I'm pretty sure I burnt the disk right. I used a Verbatim DVD+R DL. I never used a + for a Wii game before, but I've heard they work (could't find any -R DL's). I used Imgburn to burn it with a Layer Break 2084960
My problem is that I no longer have the memory card with the .elf file anymore. So I have to make a new one and I can't seem to find the guides I used to get them from in the first place
I never had a problem playing any other games, up until Metroid came out, but this is my first game on a Dual Layer. Oh, and it played Mario Galaxy 2 just fine

The disk does not show up in the disk channel and if I start it using Neogamma 7 the screen shows an error starting with 001
I'm really just looking for a way to make a memory card so that it can be read though the homebrew channel and a way to install some wad's. I just forgot all this stuff and I no longer have my SD card
Oh, well when you said "I want to make a memory card", you also said "I no longer have my SD card ". So just to clarify, you want the WAD files to put on your sd card that will fix Metroid Other M's Error 001 problem?

Yes, thank you. I did find the "Pimp my Wii" and it found and fixed some problems for me, but Metroid is still doing the same thing. Maybe I did burn it wrong, is there a guide for burning a DL with Imgburn? I've looked and can't find anything, not even on YouTube!!
