Can someone help me? I have been trying to burn Mario Party on a memorex dvd-r disc using Imgburn and Nero. I have tried burning at 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x, (burner won't burn 1x) and when I put the game in using gamma it will start trying to load the game and it will load but it is black and white and the screen is constantly jumping making the game unplayable. It almost looks like a broken old fashion t.v. the way the image keeps jumping. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Is the disc the same region as your Wii? If not you'll have to force it.

I had gamma sat for force disc. I even tried back up loader. When I was using back up loader I tried force ntsc and both of the force pal options and on one it was just a black screen. On the other it was the same jumping issue that I had been having.

1) Backuploader is old , neogamma is new. So use that program
2) what Cios are you using? The most compatable out there is 13a

But if you really want to stick with backuploader try this setting

force NTSC & Vidtvpatch

I'll bet that will get things going, but you really should update Backuploader to Neogamma.

1) Backup Launcher is old. Neogamma is new http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158884
1A) to get the Neogamma Channel http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165485
2) Superdump (Requires homebrew) dump your game in 30 minutes. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/780900
3) Make your Wii skip updates! Use preloader 0.29 and enable skip updates. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader
4) Scared of Bricking your Wii? Make an NAND backup! Install BootMii http://bootmii.org/install/

Memorex sucks. I've tried burning a few backups on to their media. The games will play for 10 mins or so and then freeze when trying to load. Good luck with Memorex, if you really want to use discs I suggest Verbatim. Otherwise find yourself an external hard drive and use USB Loader GX.
