hey guys,
i need some help!
i recently installed wii drivekey on my very early released version of wii console. i have tried to burn and play several iso games however, only was able to success on couple of games(wii Play and Godfather). I have tried burn more than 10 games and several different dvd-r including taiyo yuden and verbatim and have very poor success rate to launch those game in game channel. i

i get black screen when i press start button. i'm not sure if the game files are corrupted or bad modchip or bad burner(NEC)or something else.... can you guys help?

You may need to upgrade your firmware on your Wii or upgrade the firmware on your current modchip.

What kind of modchip do you have installed, and firmware does it have?

What is the firmware on your Wii?

i have wii drivekey(no soldering)installed and i do not know what firmware it has(Does modchip has own firmware?). I have wii firmware ver3.0U

oh! i think i found them on drivekey select option screen.
it says SW Version 1.0 and FPGA Version 1.0.
what do i do now?
